She's green. She's compassionate. And she's very, very skillful. Finding ways to emulate the deity Green Tara is the challenge we present to you, our green readers and contributors. The Green Tara Dialogues is an opportunity to make suggestions for using "skillful means" (upāya) to meet green challenges and to share reflections on contingent truths. The mother-of-all-Buddhas puts a face on the mother-of-all-contingencies that we now confront. Combining compassion for all suffering and a hard, clear look at the causes (hint: consult a mirror), she neither abandons us nor lets us avoid reality.
