Columbia alumnus Brooke Dodson-Lavelle, now studying Buddhism at Emory, sent the following announcement for the upcoming IABS conference this summer in Atlanta, Georgia.
The XVth Congress of the International Association of Buddhist Studies will be held at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, June 23-28, 2008. This academic conference, held once every three to four years, is the premier international forum for scholars of Buddhism to present their findings.

Those wishing to present a paper at the conference must submit an abstract of 300 words or less to slmccli@emory.edu by December 5, 2007. This deadline applies to those presenting on panels as well as to those submitting individual paper proposals.
