Al Gore, in his Nobel prize acceptance speech, quoted the Spanish poet Antonio Machado:
"Pathwalker, there is no path. You must make the path as you walk."
This is a path that many Green Tara fans might feel they recognize. But how can we reach a critical mass of people walking many different versions of the pathless path? And how can we collectively veer away from "mutually assured destruction"?

"Planetary Emergency" indeed, as it was Steven Hawkings who predicted we will not be living on earth in 100 years if changes do not occur soon. If only the popular votes counted back in the 2000 election, this country, even world might be a better place. Thanks Gore!

The earth has already faced 5 mass extinction events. That alone I think explains why these efforts are futile. Preservation of our own species solely depend on mother earth. We may do our part in saving the environment but what prevents the earth from exploding into a great ball of fire just like the second and biggest extinct event in earth's history. I'm not saying we should pollute the environment. But too much noise has been made for Al Gore's movie which had obvious vested interest.
